Today, 13 members of the Granny Peace Brigade will be in Washington, D.C. Can they/we stop the war? Many women will gathere there to represent all of us who keep holding on to the idea that this is truly a democracy, this United States. Brigadeer Marie Runyon, 91, explains:
You know when you get old, certain physical things happen to you. One of the things that happens is you tend to loose your hearing and you have to wear a hearing aid. Well there is that man down there in Washington, who I don't know how old he is or what his hearing capacity is, but he certainly doesn't hear and we are becoming his hearing aid!

Naomi,
Right back to you. What a vital message. (Oh to have Marie's wit and wisdom at 91!)
Excellent post m'dear. Now to check out the four I've missed. Will be back after breakfast to finish the job!
