I wish I had known about your blog years ago when I was doing exactly what you described. I still think it's an interesting idea. Sure hard to go on a trip -- what do I do with the worms? My container was too big, I guess. Should have had a small portable one I could easily carry and maybe prevail upon a friend to look after them at their house.
