Last year a new window of imagery was opened to me in Santa Rosa, California. We were sitting around the table one evening when Al went to the front door, went outside, came back holding a small mushroom. This followed a viewing of photos on the many mycological adventures he and wife Toni had experienced.
Returning to Portland, I put it on my bulletin board and talked with Ron about finding mushrooms around us so I could make these prints.
Having saved art paper over the years, I made an effort to use these in the best recycle/reuse tradition. When the spores would not penetrate the commerical paper, next was handmade paper I'd made in Mexico (blueish one altered with iPhoto). Same issue.
